Reiki (ray-kee) is a spiritual practice developed in 1922 by Mikao Usui. After three weeks of fasting and meditating on Mount Kurama, in Japan, Usui claimed that practitioners are moving "healing energy" (a form of ki, pronounced "chee") by “laying on hands” onto the patient’s body. The energy from the universe, or the life force energy, flows through clothing, blankets, casts, anything we have on our bodies.

Reiki treats the whole person emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. It produces many effects, including relaxation and a feeling of peace, security, and well-being flowing in and around your body. Reiki treatments are experienced differently by each individual.

I absolutely LOVE Reiki. It completely led the way to changing my life and  my thoughts toward others and the planet. Reiki is marvelous! It helps us each to realize our own innate intuition.

I will bring your concerns out, and we will begin to heal them. I  tune  into your body and mind and create ways to  take care of and guide you to heal yourself. I was trained in the Usui tradition, and I thank Dr. Usui for bringing the Universal Energy of Reiki to me. Reiki is a simple, natural, and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can practice and use. It is not a religion. Reiki is a constant, loving, forgiving, and nonjudgmental companion.

The basic session is 1 hour and 15 minutes long.
 
Longer and multiple sessions provide an opportunity for a richer experience.

Long-distance Reiki is also a beautiful way of healing through my intuitive technique. I have conducted distance Reiki sessions with people in Yemen, Austria, Alabama, California, and across town. A distance Reiki session includes a follow-up email and/or phone conversation, so I can share with you the specific details from our session. As crazy as it sounds, the energy of Reiki will flow through you.

Reiki 1 and Reiki 2 Attunements -    $299

You can get a Reiki attunement in a group of people, usually on the weekend or as an individual, then you can choose your days. Whatever you want.

You will learn to be a practitioner of Reiki. Everyone should learn to do Reiki, then we can all heal each other. It will change your life, if you let it.

Meditation is an integral part of the way to heal yourself, make you calm, and be in the present, observing where our minds are now and taking responsibility for where we find ourselves. Meditation is also an important part of  Reiki. These are simple meditations.
• I have 2 fabulous exercises to learn about your intuition. We can all become more intuitive. You will know what is going on in this world.
• If the class chooses, I will take you though a meditation for you to meet your Reiki Guide.
